Namal’s permission needed to walk on the road |

People in the area say that a permission letter from the Tharunyata Hetak organization was needed to use the nine kilometer stretch of road that runs up to the Sooriyawewa Ground.
It is learnt that the project valued at Rs. 1180 million is being carried out following a verbal directive issued by the President.
Meanwhile, the Matara-Wellawaya road has been carpeted in a hurry without conforming to the required standards. The road had been completed in two days.
