Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has commented to BBC’s Sandeshaya from New Delhi that the arrest of Common Presidential Candidate General Sarath Fonseka was illegal and against the military regulations, Lanka News Web learns.
The Opposition Leader has told Sandeshaya that his visit to India was aimed at informing the political leaders of the anti democratic environment currently prevalent in Sri Lanka and that he has already informed the Indian leaders of the present situation in the country.
