Sajin to commence private airline company

President’s confidential advisor on financial matters, Sajin Vass Gunawardena is currently making arrangements to commence a private domestic airline company.
It is learnt that he has made a request from LOLC to release a sum of Rs. 65 million to purchase five Robinson R44 Raven helicopters to begin the company, which is to be a BoI approved venture. Sajin had made the request for money for the LOLC under the name S De VG from No. 51/4, Bogahe Road, Battaramulla.
The helicopters are to be imported by Cosmos Aviation (Pvt) Limited, which is said to be located at No. 29, Granier Mawatha, Cotta Road, Colombo 8. |

Sajin it is learnt had also requested an additional Rs. 80 million for the second phase of the project following a Presidential directive.
Arrangement have also been made to import a duty free Pontiac car at a cost of Rs. 10 million in addition to the helicopters. |
