SriLankan Airlines Chairman Nishantha Wickremasinghe has issued a press release to our website from his personal e-mail address regarding a story "Brother in-law’s Casanova lifestyle creates problems in the President’s house " that was published in the website.

The statement in English states, “As a goal set up in Mahinda chinthanaya being a national carrier Sri Lankan air lines has decided to launch a project to promote Mattala airport as the ecofriendly aviation hub in Sri Lanka.

It is noted that certain elements of the society is trying to create disharmony between management and the staff of Sri Lankan air lines.

It is being evident that the intention of these elements to bring down the dignity of Sri Lankan air lines and to paralyze the setting up of above goal.

However the senior administration of the SL airlines has determined to proceed with the plan project irrespective of any obstacle that would trying to topple the progress of the organization.

This special statement was issued by the SL airline Chairman."

Editor’s Note:
The Chairman has sent a response that is convoluted. Chairman Nishantha Wickremasinghe has not responded to the allegations leveled against his mischievous actions. Instead he has spoken of setting up an environmentally friendly airline service. Although we sent an e-mail a few days back to his account asking whether he accepted or rejected our allegations against him, he has not responded to it. We believe that his silence is an acceptance of the allegations.
We have also receives information that the Chairman is trying change the uniform of the airhostesses and female airline staff from the traditional Kandyan saree or the saree to a short skirt with a slit in front.
We hope to publish an article with full details of the plans.
