The Mihithuru magazine, which is a concept of the Lake House Chairman, was launched on the 27^th of last month without any advertisers or sponsors.

The Chairman had earlier boasted that the magazine would be published with the assistance of a sponsor. However, even at the time of the launch the magazine had not received a sponsor or even an advertisement. Sources from the institution say that sales agents are now informing the circulation department that the magazine priced at Rs. 300 cannot be sold.

Meanwhile, the Features Editor of the Dinamina newspaper, who was earlier engaged in serving the Lake House Chairman, is now closely linked to the editorial director. Her close link with the editorial director has resulted in getting a pregnant journalist in the newspaper getting reprimanded for taking an extra day of leave in addition to the approved leave.

It is learnt that the entire Lake House institution now functions on sexual activities. It is also learnt that an actor who was engaged in a long running local teledrama and subjects women into many physical, mental and sexual pressure is now trying to get himself appointed as an editor at Lake House.

This journalist was the Features Editor of the Dinamina newspaper when the current Lake House Chairman held the post of editorial director. Female journalists in the Features section of the newspaper could still bear testament to the harassment of female journalists and even the female laborer in the section by this journalist.

Trade unions in the institution it is learnt are helpless although the institution is now being turned into a brothel since the President seems to support all these endeavors.
