Security personnel who had arrived at the house next to the one where Kumar was residing in Kiribathgoda at around 4.30 a.m. on Saturday had disconnected the power supply to the house and asked the residents to remain silent.

They had gone to the house where Kumar was residing at around 5.15 a.m. A few minutes later they had left with Kumar.

Meanwhile, Attygalle is missing since Friday night when she had left a meeting that was held in Thalawathugoda at around 8 p.m. to go to her residence in Godagama.
