The President has asked the head of the State Intelligence Service to investigate and report how the Cabinet papers that were to be taken up at the meeting yesterday had been published in MP Mangala Samaraweera’s srilankaxnews.com website. This week’s Cabinet meeting had commenced at 9.30 p.m. and ended shortly afterwards.

The Cabinet papers that were taken up at the meeting were published in the above mentioned website.

The srilankaxnews.com website is being maintained by the UNP’s Communications Division under Samaraweera. The Opposition Leader’s private secretary Sugath Chandrasekera serves as the editor of the website.
