Minister Mervyn Silva is scheduled to travel to India today to carry out a special pooja on behalf of the President. Mervyn had taken the offerings to be taken to India to Temple Trees get the First Family to make their vows.

The President’s astrological advisors have informed him that he needed to engage in religious activities to invoke blessings since he was going through a bad period. Although the astrologers have asked the President to carry out some special poojas in India, Mervyn has been assigned the task since the President cannot travel to India in a hurry.

Apart from a special pooja for the President, Mervyn has also made arrangements to hold a special pooja for himself.

Several of the President’s astrologers are also scheduled to travel to India with Mervyn and are expected to stay there for a few days.

Sources from temple Trees said that Mervyn had been preparing for the special pooja for many days by giving up consuming meat and liquor.
