The Maga Neguma project has come to a complete standstill with the company being unable to pay the contractors who have built roads under the project.

Contractors are faced with great difficulty since they are yet to receive payments for the roads completed in the North and East six months ago under the Maga Neguma programme.

All these contractors have provided 10% of their contract monies to a son of a senior government official. The politico’s son has failed to intervene in order to help the contractors secure the monies due to them.

The contractors have threatened to expose about the commissions paid if he did not intervene and help them secure their payments.
