Chairman of Daya Group of Companies Daya Gamage has made a cash donation of Rs. 100,000 to the Law Students Union of Sri Lanka towards the organizing of an exhibition of law to mark the 138th anniversary of Sri Lanka Law College that falls in mid-June this year.

Mr. Gamage, also the UNP National Organizer and the Opposition Leader in the Eastern Provincial Council, handed over the cheque to Educational secretary of the Union Sanjeewa Ruwanpathirana today.

The Union is holding a classical musical extravaganza ‘Pehesarani - 2012’ on 25th March 2012, at the BMICH from 6.30pm to raise funds towards holding the exhibition.

The musical extravaganza will be participated by the singers Amarasiri Peiris, T.M. Jayaratne, Deepika Priyadarshani Peiris and Kasun Kalhara, with Nalaka Anjana Kumara leading the orchestra.
