The light bulbs removed from the light stands at Kettharama Stadium during the renovation carried out for the Cricket World Cup to be replaced by new light bulbs have been taken to Yoshitha Rajapaksa’s Carlton Sports Network (CSN).
The details have been revealed during an audit on the Kettharama Stadium renovation programme. The reports have stated that the light bulbs had been taken away by members of the Presidential Security Division (PSD).
It is learnt that the light bulbs had been taken by CSN to be used as street lights during the Night Motor Race event being organized by the network to be held in December.
The night motor races are to be held at the Torrington Square.
