Digambaram gets a bribe of Rs. 500 million from the government

The government has given parliamentarian P. Digambaram Rs. 500 million to develop 50 roads in the Nuwara Eliya District. UNP parliamentarian Dr. Harsha de Silva has pointed out that the government had given Rs. 500 million to Digambaram when the opposition parliamentarians are yet to receive their allocations under the decentralized budget.
He added that Digambaram may have been given this amount as a token for supporting the government.
