Former Thai Prime Minister Thakshin Shinawatra visits Sri Lanka for a secret transaction

Former Thai Prime Minister Thakshin Shinawatra had arrived in the country for a secret meeting with a powerful government minister and had flown out of the country to Dubai on the 11th morning.
Shinawatra, who is living in Dubai in exile with his wife, after he was chased from Thailand over charges of large scale corruption. He had arrived in Sri Lanka from Dubai in a private jet.
The government big shot had taken steps to keep Shinawatra's visit to Sri Lanka a secret.
The former Thai Premier has invested a large portion of the money earned by him in Sri Lanka and had met with Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa on several previous occasions.
Shinawatra even celebrated his last birthday in Sri Lanka.
