Police team assigned to hamper the General’s election campaign in the Western Province

A police team has reportedly been assigned to hamper General Sarath Fonseka’s election campaign in the Western Province.
This team it is learnt had attacked the UNP offices Thihariya, Malwatte, Veyangoda and other areas on the 19th.
It is also learnt that police personnel from the Borella, Pettah, Jampettah Street, Dematagoda, Harbor, Fort, Modera and Mattakkuliya police station shave been assigned to this special team.
