  Left Front deposit money for Bahu

  General secretary of the Left Front Linus Jayathilake along with Fr Yohan Devananda, organizing secretary of left front Chamil Jayaneththi , General Secretary of the Socialist Party Mahinda Devage, leading media activist Dharmasiri Lankapeli, Sama Dharmam Editor Nadarasa Jenagan and Kusumsiri Jayewardene of the Ratnapura Left committee, deposited money with the elections commissioner for the candidacy of Common Left Candidate Dr Vickramabahu Karunaratne, on Wednesday morning.

As the main political parties have failed to put forward a democratic way out for this society,
 
divided by racial and religious discriminations, People are made poorer by the policies implemented with the baking of global powers, said Dr. Vickramabahu.

"I stand for a political solution for the national problem, based on equality, autonomy and the right of self determination," he adde

The General secretary of the Left Front Linus Jayathilake said, "with reasonable effort we could prevent any body obtaining more than 50% in the fist count".
