Rajapaksas set to buy Swarnavahini |

It is reliably learnt that the Swarnavahini channel under the EAP Group is to be purchased by a close relative of the President and the deal is to be finalized shortly.
Lake House Chairman Bandula Padmakumara had played a key role in the deal. The Rajapaksa relative had agreed to the price quoted by EAP Group Director, Jeevaka Edirisinghe.
Although the EAP Group has decided to sell the Swarnavahini TV channel due to financial difficulties, the Company is to continue with its radio channels including Sri FM.
